About the Location
About the Location
San Pio delle Camere, with it’s rugged terrain, is dominated by its medieval castle and is host to many natural caves, some of which were historically dug to host and shelter livestock. That said, there are many inhabitants that own caves! The mountain offers the possibility to practice summer and winter sports such as canoeing, alpine skiing, mountain biking, hiking and mountaineering.
Half an hour’s drive there is also the highway to Rome and also to Pescara, a beautiful and lively seaside city.
