Description
This beautiful Italian ‘villa’ can be found on historical maps which date back to the year 1000!
The house itself is very bright and is situated on the highest point of the village. It has a beautiful view of the countryside and the surrounding mountains. Although ancient, the structure and roof are sound and the house is equipped with all modern comforts. The renovation has been completed to a high standard, respecting its original structure and including the use of materials. A perfect balance between rustic and modern!
The house covers four levels. In the basement there is an exposed-brick cellar – its first renovation dates back to 1700 and today it is used for the preservation, storage and sampling of fine wines.
On the ground floor there is a lovely entrance hall, a comfortable bathroom with shower and a room currently used as a service room and artistic workshop by the owner because it has a sink and plumbing. This area also gives access to the basement.
A staircase leads to the first floor where there is a divided living area: a bright kitchen with terrace (prefect for morning coffee and relaxing with a glass of wine), a living room and a study.
On the second floor there are three bedrooms – one of which has a terrace overlooking the surrounding hills and mountains, and finally a bathroom.
The house has been well cared for and most of the furniture can be sold by negotiation.
