Description
The Baron’s Palace is a historic residence located in the central square of the town of Cappelle sul Tavo, just a few kilometers from the sea and the cities of Montesilvano and Pescara. Behind the house there is a large Italian-style park, with centuries-old trees and a beautiful view of the Gran Sasso mountain. A brick wall lines the public road, preserving the park’s private and peaceful atmosphere.
Within the park, there are small historic buildings, such as the Baron’s ancient bathroom and a historic workshop with a panoramic terrace.
Half of the building is for sale. In the other half, you can find an apartment on the ground floor – nearly 200 square meters, in good condition, also that one is for sale.
The Palace has been externally renovated and is in good condition, with the roof recently undergoing restoration. However, internal work is needed, including electrical systems, plumbing, window fixtures, and doors. On the ground floor, there are various service rooms and warehouses, where excavation has already been done for laying the foundations. The first floor used to be the Baron’s residence, with preserved floors and a beautiful terracotta stove
The villa is not listed as a heritage site, the structure and roof have already been restored and are in good condition. However, interior renovation work is needed, including electrical work, plumbing, windows, and doors. On the ground floor are the former stables, kitchen, and various service rooms, where excavation work for the foundations has already been prepared. A staircase leads to the first floor where the Baron’s living quarters were located. Here, there are high vaulted ceilings and original preserved colored floors, as well as a beautiful antique terracotta stove.
The property is conveniently located in terms of transportation and has its own parking lot. One could open a very nice restaurant here and incorporate the park and the beautiful antique buildings into the planning.
